Whether you are following the books, HBO series or both, I believe a good viewing is in order for HBO's new Game of Thrones Trailer
The trailer starts with the spider, Varys of the Kings council telling Tyrion a riddle. "Three great men, a king, a priest, and a rich man. Between them stands a common sellsword. Each great man bids the sellsword kill the other two. Who dies?" Varys' riddle resonates throughout the second book and perfectly sets the tone for this second season.
A Clash of Kings introduces a whole new batch of characters that were only spoken of in the previous book/season including the late King Roberts brother, Lord Stannis. The treachery, brutality, and glory will keep you drooling for more.
