When Disney and Videogames Collide

When I first heard SquareEnix was releasing a game with Disney characters and Final Fantasy, I laughed it off as it being one of the worst concept to ever come about. Man, I was so dead wrong. And when Scott Pilgrim vs. The World came out, I hailed it as being one of the greatest movies of all time. But now we have the ultimate mash-up -- videogame villains + Disney (movie) = Wreck-It Ralph.


Wreck-It Ralph is about an 8-bit villain who stirs a whole ton of mischief when he tries to be the good guy. Lesson #1: Don't be someone you're not. While attempting to be like his game's perfect hero, Fix It Felix, things go terribly wrong and unleashes a notable deadly villain that's threatening to destroy the entire arcade. Ralph's only hope is a glitch from another game to teach him to be the good guy. Will Ralph have what it takes to be the evil-turned-good and save the arcade world?


Voice actors include Gerald Rivers (noted for being M. Bison, Exdeath from Dissidia, and Jager from The Last Remnant), Sarah Silverman (you guys should know her!), Jack McBayer, and others. Not too much detail has been released yet, but from what I've seen, this is awesome.

Excited? You betcha. And we don't have to wait until 2015 to see it like every other movie we get amped for. It'll release in theaters November 2nd, 2012. One word: omgomgomg.
